• Glad you liked it. I actually thought about you after I chose this one given your comment on the last one. 🙂 I think I wonder about why I seem drawn to the images that could be possibly alluding to what is threatening when I generally am the type that avoids “scary movies” and other such things that can give one nightmares. Watching back episodes of the tv show “Supernatural”, I tell myself I shouldn’t be watching this stuff, gonna put thoughts into my head when i hear a bump in the night. 😉

  1. The building presents a brave front on the surface, with bricks that look they have been painted pink not long ago. The rust and crumbling below grade tell a different story. Too bad it’s not just buildings that deceive themselves like this.

  2. I don’t know, but I think I like it… The sun seems to draw me to the door, and the pink lends it a kind of fantasy feel. The splatter everywhere takes on a sense of creativity gone wild. Almost like I’m looking at the doorway to Wonderland, or a path to the proverbial rabbit hole. I kind of want to explore… lol!

But then, I tend to be drawn to things deep and hidden from sight, because I always want to know…

    Great photo, though! 🙂

    • Thanks. I kind of like thinking of it as a kind proverbial rabbit hole…the pink and other facets sort of makes one let their guard down (like a house made of candy?)…so one part of oneself is throwing out a warning and another part asks “what could go wrong?” [speaking as someone who has spent a good part of my adult life down the rabbit hole] 🙂
